Computer Education Society of Philadelphia (C.E.S.O.P.) www.cesop.org is one of the great Computer Societies of Region 3. There mantra as stated on their home page is: We are members helping members. This is the philosophy of all the User Groups in Region 3.
The purpose of this Club is to promote the general pursuit of knowledge and educate by way of engaging in the exchange of ideas, techniques and information for the broader and more effective use of computer hardware and software.
This is accomplished by sponsoring meetings, seminars, lectures and workshops to share knowledge, experiences and discussion of computer topics of interest to members and the general public.
Also a periodic newsletter has been published and distributed containing valuable and interesting computer information and news.
The Huntingdon Valley Library and CESOP members are in the process of setting up “Beginner” classes that Huntingdon Valley patrons and CESOP members are welcome to attend or assist these sessions.
There general meeting is a workshop open to anyone and everyone and are usually scheduled for the last Saturday of each month.
The CESOP is moving their meeting location to the Huntingdon Valley Library which is located @ 625 Red Lion Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
