The APCUG 2008 Leadership Development Conference (LDC) will be on Saturday and Sunday, May 17 - 18, 2008 at the Palisades Mall in West Nyack, New York. There will also be a Friday night event for those who come early. This will be for all APCUG Regions east of the Mississippi River but all APCUG Regions are welcome to attend. All Eastern US Advisors (Gabe Goldberg, Judy Taylour, Stu Silverman, Bob Kwater, Patty Lowry and Sam Wexler) are involved, with Sam Wexler having overall responsibility for this event.
Plan to attend this event. The entire day of Saturday is Increase Membership Day devoted to sessions on how to increase your membership. Since so many of our groups are looking for ways to build their membership, we have gathered experts with proven track records, who will give you many fresh ideas on this topic. They will Train the Leaders by teaching new ideas that are easy to implement in your club.
Sunday’s workshops are on technology, promoting your club, and the ins and outs of running a club. Bring your Board and members as this promises to be a must attend event full of information that everyone can use.
