From The Plateau Pc Users Group, Inc Gazette in Crossville, TN Investment Club Information
The Crossville Area Investment Club completed 2007 with an investment return of
14.3%, handily beating all stock market indexes yet (slightly) below our goal of
15%. We were fortunate to have invested in three companies that doubled in
value: Suntech Power (STP), Garmin (GRMN), and Southern Copper (PCU). Focusing
on investor education seems to have paid off. All 10 members are looking forward
to 2008 and learning more about topics such as: Foreign stocks, technical
analysis, analyst research, and our investment philosophy. We invite new
partners to join us and remember rule #1 ?Don’t lose money!? To a happy and
prosperous New Year, cheers!
