FACUG Spring Conference

The 13th annual FACUG spring conference is scheduled for March 2-4, 2007 at the Kissimmee Civic Center in Kissimmee, Florida. Attendees are able to leave the conference with a renewed sense of direction for the individual groups as well as better ways to manage each organization, increase membership and please the existing membership. The conference is open to all Computer User Group members, whether or not their group is a member of FACUG; attendance is limited to 200.

You won’t want to miss the Vendor Faire, Roundtable Discussions, Vendor Presentations & Tech Sessions, Exhibits -- Prize Drawings, and Newsletter & Web Page Competiton. The Roundtable discussions will cover Creating and Maintaining a Web Site; Everything you wanted to know about being a Treasurer, but were afraid to ask; Finding & Retaining Volunteers; Fun ways to make money for your club’s treasury; Ins and Outs of Hardware; iTunes and digitizing music; Maintaining Membership; New Member Orientation; SIGS for the Beginner thru Advanced; Strategies for UG Success; Taking a spin with Microsoft’s Digital Image Suite, The Importance of Developing SIGs, The Social Side of User Groups, and What can FACUG do for you?

Registration fees for FACUG member attendees whose groups are in good standing:
$60 on site
$55 if postmarked or online before February 20, 2007
$40 if postmarked or online by February 10, 2007

Non-member group attendees:
$70 per person on site
$60 if postmarked or online before February 20, 2007
(no other discount)

There are no refunds after February 19, 2007; substitution of attendee fee is $15.

Please contact your organization's treasurer to make sure their membership status is up to date to avoid confusion at the door.

The Quality Inn Conference Heritage Park in Kissimmee is the conference hotel. Mention Computer User Groups to obtain the $44 conference rate.
